Venus may have once had a shallow ocean and habitable temperatures, allowing it to support life for up to two billion years of its early history, according to NASA researchers.
Using a model similar to what is used to study climate change on Earth, scientists at NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) concluded that the planet may have once been an entirely different place than modern-day Venus, which is a "hellish place" with a carbon dioxide atmosphere 90 times as thick as Earth's and almost no water vapor, and temperatures that reach 864 degrees Fahrenheit (462 degrees Celsius).
"Many of the same tools we use to model climate change on Earth can be adapted to study climates on other planets, both past and present," Michael Way, a researcher at GISS and the paper's lead author, said in a statement.
The research, published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, was made possible by using previous data and applying it to a new hypothesis of what ancient Venus was really like.
First, the scientists used data from NASA's Pioneer mission in the 1980s, which suggested that Venus may have once had an ocean.
They then used newer research which, contrary to previous beliefs, found that just because a planet has a slow rotation rate - like Venus - doesn't mean it has a thick atmosphere. That is, although modern Venus has a thick atmosphere, an earlier Venus could have had a different - and more habitable - environment, while still maintaining the exact same rotation rate it does today.
Using that existing information, the scientists based their research on the assumption that ancient Venus had more dry land than Earth, particularly in the tropics. That would have limited the amount of water that was evaporated from the oceans. If that assumption was true, the hypothetical Venus of the past would have possessed an ideal environment to host life.
Moving forward, the researchers simulated a Venus with an atmosphere similar to Earth's, but with a day as long as Venus' current day, which totals 117 Earth days. They also threw in a shallow ocean which was consistent with data from Pioneer spacecraft.
They went on to add information about Venus' topography, using radar measurements taken by NASA's Magellan mission in the 1990s. They filled the lowlands with water, leaving the highlands exposed. They also included an ancient sun that was up to 30 percent dimmer. Even with those adjustments, they found that their ancient Venus model received about 40 percent more sunlight than modern-day Earth.
"In the GISS model's simulation, Venus' slow spin exposes its dayside to the sun for almost two months at a time," co-author and GISS scientist Anthony Del Genio said. "This warms the surface and produces rain that creates a thick layer of clouds, which acts like an umbrella to shield the surface from much of the solar heating. The result is mean climate temperatures that are actually a few degrees cooler than Earth's today."
The study was done as part of NASA's Planetary Scientce Astrobiology program through the Nexus for Exoplanet System Science (NexSS) program.

An official who reports to Chinese President Xi Jinping told a representative of the White Dragon Society last week that Hillary Clinton had offered to hand over Korea, ASEAN and Japan to help create a “United States of China,” if the Chinese supported her bid to become President of the United States. Clinton also told the Chinese that a short sharp war with the US military would be needed to put this plan in place and establish China as the world’s number 1 superpower. For this reason China supports Clinton, the official said.
The WDS representative told the Chinese that Khazarian gangsters like Hillary tell people what they want to hear but always betray them as soon as they get a chance. He was also told that no matter how many times the US military ran simulations of an all-out war with China, the result was always 90% of the world’s population dying and the Northern hemisphere of the planet becoming uninhabitable.
It was further explained to the official that, according to British Intelligence, when George Bush Sr. went fishing with Vladimir Putin in 2007 he invited Putin to join a plot to destroy China. The scenario Bush painted was for the US and Russia to start a new cold war. This would give Russia, the US, Europe and Japan an excuse to re-arm. During this cold war, Russia would pretend to be China’s friend. However, in the end NATO, Russia, Japan and Korea would all attack China and divide it into six countries so that China would never rise to be a threat to Western power.
The official was also told that Clinton was part of the Bush Nazi mafia so whatever promises she was making were only to buy time and get money from the Chinese so that they could carry out this plan. As a result of this conversation, the Chinese official agreed China should not support Clinton.
The other thing the Khazarians did was to force their puppet the Emperor of Japan to announce his resignation on August 8th, an auspicious day for China. The Chinese were told this was to get crown Prince Naruhito on the throne so he could help with the plan to unite Japan with China. Naruhito is married to Masako Owada who is the daughter of Rockefeller slave and world court judge Hisashi Owada. Again the Chinese were told this was just a Khazarian attempt to bribe China by offering to hand over their puppet government in Japan. Furthermore, the imperial family would never willingly accede to such a plan and so it was just a Khazarian lie. The emperor is resigning because of poor health and because he does not want to get involved in the ongoing fight over the gold bunkers in Japan. In conclusion, the WDS explained very clearly to the Chinese this was a Khazarian trick designed to fool the Chinese into war with the US.
The WDS and the Chinese also discussed the future of the US dollar and the global financial system. The Chinese delegate said China’s plan was to replace the US dollar with
bitcoin. He said the recent hacking of bitcoin was a setback to this plan but that a new generation Chinese supercomputers would be powerful enough to keep bitcoin secure.
The WDS told the Chinese a more viable plan was for China to make a big move to take over the existing international US dollar infrastructure and have the United States issue a separate new currency of its own.
Pentagon sources, for their part, confirm US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is pushing for the launch of a gold-backed international currency to replace the US dollar as well as a new currency for the United States as a part of a revamp of the international financial system.
The conditions are ripe and the Chinese could successfully pull this off, in tandem with US military and agency white hats, by offering to trade all US dollars based on real world transactions (not derivatives and related financial fraud) for a new currency within a two or three month window of opportunity. The Chinese military and Asian royal families are ready to offer gold to back this move. At the most only about 20 (mostly small slave states) of the world’s 200 or so countries would refuse to go along with such a plan, they were told. This is something the Chinese leadership will be discussing at their summer retreat this month.
The White Dragon Society was also contacted last week by representatives of the South American drug cartels who said they wanted help in laundering their drug money now that they could no longer go through the Bush/Nazi branch of the CIA. The Chinese military is looking to see if they can help do this if it will help take down the Bush/Clinton crime family, according to Chinese government agents in Japan.
The WDS for its part said the answer was to legalize and regulate the drug business.

In any case, the ongoing Khazarian mafia attempt to hand Japan over to China has led to strong infighting inside the Japanese power structure with the religious (Shinto, Buddhist and Christian) establishment fighting against the Khazarian bribed politicians. As a part of this struggle, forces opposed to the Shinzo Abe regime successfully managed to place their candidate, Yuriko Koike as mayor of Tokyo. This gives them control over police forces operating in the capital city and thus the ability to start rounding up thugs working for the Khazarian mafia, the sources say.
This infighting is a mirror of the serious power struggle taking place in the United States. When US top general Joseph Dunford went to Turkey on July 31st, he was told in no uncertain terms by the Turks that it was people operating inside the US who were behind most of the world’s terrorism. The Turks said they would only renew cooperation with the US military if something was done about this.
Dunford responded by publicly calling on August first for the US military to be apolitical and non-partisan but to honor its oath to defend the constitution.
Pentagon sources say this is code for the military to move to remove Hillary Clinton. Former head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey made a similar call in an opinion piece published in the Washington Post on July 30th, the Pentagon sources noted.
Furthermore, the sources say, Obama was summoned to the Department of Defense on August 4th where he was told the US military would be opposing not only ISIS but all “false flags, attempts to assassinate Donald Trump, vote fraud, race wars, food riots as well as any other efforts to stop the presidential election or impose martial law.”
CIA sources for their part are warning there will be an attempt soon to use some sort of scalar weapon to kill thousands of people in Altanta, Georgia sometime in either August or September to try to get the November Presidential election called off. Calling of the election would be a prelude to a world war aimed at saving the Khazarian power structure.
In yet another sign events are spinning out of control, first nations sources in British Columbia, Canada, say they shot down an armed US drone last week operating illegally inside Canada.
The Chinese, for their part, were given a fresh reminder of Khazarian genocidal plans last week when they shot down an un-marked plane that was spraying chemtrails along the Chinese border with Kazakhstan, according to CIA agents in Asia. The plane was piloted by Bush CIA agents and was filled with containers of bio-engineered swine flu, they said.
We are also getting reports from Indonesia and elsewhere of thousands of people mysteriously dropping dead, a sure sign of a renewed attempt by the Khazarians to use bio-weapons to reduce the world population to levels they can control.
What all these events show is that the world is in for some turbulent times as we watch the desperate struggles of the dying Khazarian beast. If we fight hard and relentlessly, we can finally defeat these monsters as early as this autumn. Getting Donald Trump in power in the US will be a huge key to victory. The impending fall of the House of Saud will be another. However, preventing world war from starting in the South China Sea and elsewhere will be just as important.

David Wilcock: Hi, I'm David Wilcock, and you're watching “Cosmic Disclosure”. I'm here with my co-host, Corey Goode. And as we saw in our first episode interview with former aerospace engineer William Tompkins, he is the consummate insider.
We learned how spies discovered what the Germans had really been working on, including the invention of actual working flying saucers.
In this episode, we're going to go even further into the life and times of William Tompkins. He's going to start out telling us about the secret think tank he was involved with while he was working with the Navy and dealing with the Secretary of Defense, James Forrestal.
MAJESTIC 12
William Tompkins: He's the Secretary of the Navy. He's sort of the top guy. And unlike many military organizations around the planet, everybody liked Forrestal. All the people did. He was really a beautiful guy. And he knew what he was talking about.
But his people were essentially like a short name, a name that was abbreviated.
And so it had quite a few different titles to it. That group were essentially the apex of the Alumni.
So at Douglas, we had the situation where putting together packages among different areas that we were working on in the think tank – now other people in the tank were aware of who Forrestal was.
And they were aware that we should not be using his group's name.
But essentially, every document that we came up with inside that secret think tank – how will this be accepted by that group?
Are we deviating from their agenda? What is their agenda? Who are all of these people? Is the Bilderberg involved in this? Are other organizations – secret organizations – are they involved in this?
We then structured our presentations to them when he came out to assume Forrestal was the number-one person in the country who ran the PROPER organization, the REAL organization, to handle technically the extraterrestrial.
We have now what essentially is the US Navy space systems, which is not an organization, but it's inside of the secret think tank at Douglas.
That operation was controlling everything in the country, and the President of the United States was not included. Top military people, congressmen were not included.
So here we are giving away the store to the people that are causing the problem. And I think this is hard for us to accept, but this is what was going on. We didn't know it, but that's what it appeared to be.
In documents that I put together and several of the others that were submitted back to the Navy, I would make comments on, essentially, “Who does this information go to?” This was a continuous problem in the secret think tank.
Dr. Klemperer – he's a real nice guy, smart, brilliant, and you can kid with him, okay? He's my boss.
Klemperer was convinced that there were two different groups. There was the standard organizations – the Navy's levels of information. And then you got this other group up on top.
And we know that the admiral was heading that group up on top. He was the head of it.
So we assumed after he was assassinated that that was then true, because he then was talking too much.
These are the complexities of the program where we're off by ourselves, not being influenced by anybody. We're coming up with what we think we're going to have to do to solve an unbelievable problem.
And when you don't know who your boss is, you do the best you can.

David: What you're seeing here is very corroborating information with what so many others have been telling us over time about this mystery of how do they keep this stuff secret.
People say, “Oh, the government can't keep a secret. They can't even find a file in a file cabinet. How could they keep these things secret?”
Well, Corey, when we're hearing about the guy who ultimately becomes the Secretary of Defense and was the first Secretary of Defense in America, Forrestal – and even he – they don't know who he's really working for. They don't know . . . Yeah, he's the head of the Navy. He becomes the Secretary of Defense, but he mentioned this thing he called the “Alumni”.
And when I hear that, I'm think “Illuminati”.
Corey Goode: That's a name that's been used for them before in the military.
David: You're saying “Alumni”?
Corey: Alumni.
David: They actually used that word?
Corey: Mm-hmm.
David: And that actually means “Illuminati”?
Corey: Right. That was their name for it.
David: He also kind of dances around a code name for this group, but he doesn't say what it is. It appears to be MJ-12. Would you agree with that? That's what he's talking about?
Corey: Yes. Yes.
David: Okay. Have you ever been in a situation where the people that you're working with don't know who they're reporting to or what their agenda really is?
Corey: That's the basic tool they use to keep people oblivious to what's going on. And everything is highly compartmentalized. Even on the vessel I was on, everything was compartmentalized.
David: Could you give me an example?
Corey: Well, there was a large area that was a bay that we would use for transportation, and everything was modular. So the bay would be this open. [Corey's hands are about three inches apart.] You'd push it all the way open and then start building out laboratories or whatever else needed to be in there.
And we would not . . . If I was working with a certain group of scientists, we would not have any idea what the other . . . just on the other side of the wall, going right next to each other.
David: In the same research vessel?
Corey: Right.
David: Really?
Corey: Yeah, and they do things like they'll give us a special access program – the same name as a regular military program that's secret, so that if one of the programs' names is thrown out there, they can say, “Oh, look, it's tied to this.” This is a secret program, but it's not what you think it is.
David: He was tossing out some alphanumeric codes that were like alternative titles for this group. Is that commonly done? Is that kind of what you're talking about now?
Corey: Yeah. Yeah. You give a group several different names so it causes confusion if people start to talk about them. They'll be like, “Who?” You know, “Well, I knew a group named this.” And it just adds to the confusion.
David: This compartmentalization that we're speaking of, do some of the people in some of these space program factions not even know that there are other factions?
Corey: Absolutely. Hardly any of them know about other factions. They will often know a little bit about less technological factions below them. A lot of them have come up through those. But they are not privy . . . If they see another craft, they're told that it's a concept craft for their program, not to speak about it to anyone.
David: Right. Tompkins also described that this guy, who supposedly is answering to this shadowy MJ-12 group, ended up getting murdered.
Now, that suggests that there is something nefarious going on. We know the term MJ-12 didn't even come into the public lexicon until the 1980s thanks to William Moore, Stanton Friedman, who got this roll of 35mm film that had documents on it that up until then had never been available in the public domain.
Yet, Tompkins clearly seems to have known about MJ-12, even though he didn't want to say the name on camera.
Why do you think people are so afraid of these guys, and what do you think happened to Forrestal?
Corey: Well, Forrestal, it was reported in the smart glass pads, was one of the people that had been eliminated.
David: Oh, really?
Corey: Yes.
David: It said that in there?
Corey: Yes.
David: Really?
Corey: Yeah, and I don't know who the other people are. A lot of their names I would have no base of reference. But, yeah, they have a list of who was taken out in the name of national security or whatever.
David: And did they use that as an incentive for people to keep their mouth shut?
Corey: Yes, because everyone in the programs knows what happened, even though the general public is given a cover story.
David: So the implication is that no matter how high-falutin you think you are, how important you are, they'll snuff you like a candle the minute you step out of line.
Corey: Yeah, presidents, senators – it does not matter.
David: Well, that's a group you don't want to mess with. In the next clip here, we're going to be talking about Nordic secretaries and their role in helping to shape America's development of their own Secret Space Program. Let's take a look.

So here we are giving away the store to the people that are causing the problem. And I think this is hard for us to accept, but this is what was going on. We didn't know it, but that's what it appeared to be.
In documents that I put together and several of the others that were submitted back to the Navy, I would make comments on, essentially, “Who does this information go to?” This was a continuous problem in the secret think tank.
Dr. Klemperer – he's a real nice guy, smart, brilliant, and you can kid with him, okay? He's my boss.
Klemperer was convinced that there were two different groups. There was the standard organizations – the Navy's levels of information. And then you got this other group up on top.
And we know that the admiral was heading that group up on top. He was the head of it.
So we assumed after he was assassinated that that was then true, because he then was talking too much.
These are the complexities of the program where we're off by ourselves, not being influenced by anybody. We're coming up with what we think we're going to have to do to solve an unbelievable problem.
And when you don't know who your boss is, you do the best you can.

David: What you're seeing here is very corroborating information with what so many others have been telling us over time about this mystery of how do they keep this stuff secret.
People say, “Oh, the government can't keep a secret. They can't even find a file in a file cabinet. How could they keep these things secret?”
Well, Corey, when we're hearing about the guy who ultimately becomes the Secretary of Defense and was the first Secretary of Defense in America, Forrestal – and even he – they don't know who he's really working for. They don't know . . . Yeah, he's the head of the Navy. He becomes the Secretary of Defense, but he mentioned this thing he called the “Alumni”.
And when I hear that, I'm think “Illuminati”.
Corey Goode: That's a name that's been used for them before in the military.
David: You're saying “Alumni”?
Corey: Alumni.
David: They actually used that word?
Corey: Mm-hmm.
David: And that actually means “Illuminati”?
Corey: Right. That was their name for it.
David: He also kind of dances around a code name for this group, but he doesn't say what it is. It appears to be MJ-12. Would you agree with that? That's what he's talking about?
Corey: Yes. Yes.
David: Okay. Have you ever been in a situation where the people that you're working with don't know who they're reporting to or what their agenda really is?
Corey: That's the basic tool they use to keep people oblivious to what's going on. And everything is highly compartmentalized. Even on the vessel I was on, everything was compartmentalized.
David: Could you give me an example?
Corey: Well, there was a large area that was a bay that we would use for transportation, and everything was modular. So the bay would be this open. [Corey's hands are about three inches apart.] You'd push it all the way open and then start building out laboratories or whatever else needed to be in there.
And we would not . . . If I was working with a certain group of scientists, we would not have any idea what the other . . . just on the other side of the wall, going right next to each other.
David: In the same research vessel?
Corey: Right.
David: Really?
Corey: Yeah, and they do things like they'll give us a special access program – the same name as a regular military program that's secret, so that if one of the programs' names is thrown out there, they can say, “Oh, look, it's tied to this.” This is a secret program, but it's not what you think it is.
David: He was tossing out some alphanumeric codes that were like alternative titles for this group. Is that commonly done? Is that kind of what you're talking about now?
Corey: Yeah. Yeah. You give a group several different names so it causes confusion if people start to talk about them. They'll be like, “Who?” You know, “Well, I knew a group named this.” And it just adds to the confusion.
David: This compartmentalization that we're speaking of, do some of the people in some of these space program factions not even know that there are other factions?
Corey: Absolutely. Hardly any of them know about other factions. They will often know a little bit about less technological factions below them. A lot of them have come up through those. But they are not privy . . . If they see another craft, they're told that it's a concept craft for their program, not to speak about it to anyone.
David: Right. Tompkins also described that this guy, who supposedly is answering to this shadowy MJ-12 group, ended up getting murdered.
Now, that suggests that there is something nefarious going on. We know the term MJ-12 didn't even come into the public lexicon until the 1980s thanks to William Moore, Stanton Friedman, who got this roll of 35mm film that had documents on it that up until then had never been available in the public domain.
Yet, Tompkins clearly seems to have known about MJ-12, even though he didn't want to say the name on camera.
Why do you think people are so afraid of these guys, and what do you think happened to Forrestal?
Corey: Well, Forrestal, it was reported in the smart glass pads, was one of the people that had been eliminated.
David: Oh, really?
Corey: Yes.
David: It said that in there?
Corey: Yes.
David: Really?
Corey: Yeah, and I don't know who the other people are. A lot of their names I would have no base of reference. But, yeah, they have a list of who was taken out in the name of national security or whatever.
David: And did they use that as an incentive for people to keep their mouth shut?
Corey: Yes, because everyone in the programs knows what happened, even though the general public is given a cover story.
David: So the implication is that no matter how high-falutin you think you are, how important you are, they'll snuff you like a candle the minute you step out of line.
Corey: Yeah, presidents, senators – it does not matter.

An official who reports to Chinese President Xi Jinping told a representative of the White Dragon Society last week that Hillary Clinton had offered to hand over Korea, ASEAN and Japan to help create a “United States of China,” if the Chinese supported her bid to become President of the United States. Clinton also told the Chinese that a short sharp war with the US military would be needed to put this plan in place and establish China as the world’s number 1 superpower. For this reason China supports Clinton, the official said.
The WDS representative told the Chinese that Khazarian gangsters like Hillary tell people what they want to hear but always betray them as soon as they get a chance. He was also told that no matter how many times the US military ran simulations of an all-out war with China, the result was always 90% of the world’s population dying and the Northern hemisphere of the planet becoming uninhabitable.
It was further explained to the official that, according to British Intelligence, when George Bush Sr. went fishing with Vladimir Putin in 2007 he invited Putin to join a plot to destroy China. The scenario Bush painted was for the US and Russia to start a new cold war. This would give Russia, the US, Europe and Japan an excuse to re-arm. During this cold war, Russia would pretend to be China’s friend. However, in the end NATO, Russia, Japan and Korea would all attack China and divide it into six countries so that China would never rise to be a threat to Western power.
The official was also told that Clinton was part of the Bush Nazi mafia so whatever promises she was making were only to buy time and get money from the Chinese so that they could carry out this plan. As a result of this conversation, the Chinese official agreed China should not support Clinton.
The other thing the Khazarians did was to force their puppet the Emperor of Japan to announce his resignation on August 8th, an auspicious day for China. The Chinese were told this was to get crown Prince Naruhito on the throne so he could help with the plan to unite Japan with China. Naruhito is married to Masako Owada who is the daughter of Rockefeller slave and world court judge Hisashi Owada. Again the Chinese were told this was just a Khazarian attempt to bribe China by offering to hand over their puppet government in Japan. Furthermore, the imperial family would never willingly accede to such a plan and so it was just a Khazarian lie. The emperor is resigning because of poor health and because he does not want to get involved in the ongoing fight over the gold bunkers in Japan. In conclusion, the WDS explained very clearly to the Chinese this was a Khazarian trick designed to fool the Chinese into war with the US.

NASA Says No More Live Feed From ISS + Was NASA’s codename for UFOs accidentally revealed?
NASA has just made an announcement to end the live feed from the International Space Station.
